To carve your pumpkin, cut off the top using a sharp knife or the blade from a pumpkin carving kit and remove the seeds.
After the seeds have been removed, tape the stencil to your pumpkin and punch holes around the picture outline using a nail, large needle or toothpick. Remove the stencil and connect the dots with a pencil if necessary.
Using the knife (as satisfying as it may be, we don't recommend using a cutting torch for pumpkin carving), cut out the image by following the dotted line. Place a candle or small battery powered light inside the pumpkin and enjoy.
Remember to always make safety your first priority. Use sharp knives or pointed objects carefully and wear proper protective gear.
